I'm your typical man who knows little about jewelry except that
women love it and can't get enough of it. My situation is even more
complicated because my wife knows a lot about jewelry and has high
standards for quality and things that are unique. This has made
buying her nice stuff so intimidating that I pretty much gave up
and would tell her to just buy what she wanted and call it her gift
from me. As you can guess, my lack of effort was not well received
by her. I went in to Concept Jewelry Design in St Albert and had a
very different experience. The staff were relaxed and welcoming
which helped a lot. They spent a lot of time with me and asked lots
of questions and did not make me feel stupid about my lack of
knowledge. They taught me about the various stones and metals and
helped me to understand every component of what I was buying. It
was my wife's 40th birthday and she was depressed so with the help
of Carmen, we designed a beautiful starfish necklace with yellow
diamonds. Never would I have had the guts to actually design
something but in this store it was easy. Carmen patiently and
respectfully helped me through the whole process from choosing the
perfect design from the many beautiful and unique ones she came up
with to choosing the right stones, metals chains etc. My wife and I
were so happy with the necklace that we have become exclusive
customers at Concept Jewelry and have bought several things there.
I even had my wedding band remade there even though I said I would
never change it. Their customer service is so good that they gave
me an extensive education on luxury watches and I have since bought
2 from them and they don't even sell watches at their store! That's
pretty amazing! We have so much trust and respect for Carmen and Ty
and the kind of business they do that we call them our friends and
we will shop no place else. So, for all you men who are stressed
out about buying jewelry for the ladies in your life, go to Concept
Jewelry and you will have a very different experience than you have
in any other store. Your ladies will love you for it!

WOW! So thankful for these guys. My fiancé and I have been all
over Alberta, from Edmonton to Calgary and we had the perfect
little custom jewelry studio right in our back yard! I saw these
guys in one of the local newspapers and their ad looked very clean
and modern. I thought why not give them a shot. When we first
walked in the store it was hard to believe it was a jewelry store.
The space is so wide open and clean, and the walls are lined with
cases filled with unique jewelry designs we have not seen in any of
the stores we have visited.
The owner Carmen.... now "our jeweler" greeted us right away. Both
herself and her employee Ty were extremely welcoming and kind and
were eager to hear our ideas as well as express their own ideas
when it came to designing our wedding set. In all the other stores
we had been in, the atmosphere was almost tense. I would not say
the same for concept. In matter of minutes we felt like old
friends. After months of visiting jewelry stores in Edmonton and
Calgary and even one in Toronto, we found the most innovative
jewelry designs right here in St. Albert.
After sitting down and discussing options regarding design, stone
size, budget etc... we nailed down the perfect designs for her
engagement ring and both of our wedding rings. It took about two
weeks for mine to be complete and three weeks for my fiancés. Our
wedding is in July, and we are both excited to wear our new pieces
of bling and show them off to all of our friends. Working with
concept was an extremely pleasant experience and we can not wait to
continue to do business with them in the future!

The phrase "thank you" doesn't seem "big" enough to express the
appreciation we have for all you did to have our idea come to life.
When we thought about having a belt buckle made for our children's
teacher, we had no real idea of where to start. We went in many
directions and were about to give up when thankfully, one turn lead
