My first encounter with Concept Jewelry was in 2009 when I shopping for an engagement ring. To be honest with
you, I can't remember how I came across the store but that really doesn't surprise me as i often can't remember
what i ate for breakfast. Within this small elegant boutique store I met Carmen the owner. This began our
love/hate relationship...I love the quality, uniqueness, attention to detail, designs, imagination that she puts
into her jewelry....I hate that I love the quality, uniqueness, attention to detail and uniqueness.
I had a vision of what I wanted in an engagement ring. With the help of Carmen we did a custom fabrication with
a hand selected diamond. The final product was a 1 of a kind custom engagement ring that has sparkle and shine
all the time. You can make any ring shine with the right lighting and mirrors, a true stone shines even when it's
dirty and has a layer of hand cream on it. My wife to this day gets complete strangers commenting on the beauty
of the ring which is a reflection of the work that Carmen does.
Here's the hook, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a bargain, generic, cheap, mass fabricated ring
or other piece of jewelry then you sir are wasting your time in a store like this. There are plenty of franchised box chains out there to service your needs....but, if you want that something special, and you appreciate the detail and those little things that make it better...then perhaps you should drop by and say hi.
Since 2009 there have been several birthdays, anniversary, pushing gifts (who knew that this was a thing???). Every item just as special, just as unique, just as "Carmen." That is partially why I hate you, if you weren't as darn good as you are this wouldn't be such an issue. Alas, there are certainly going to be more birthdays and anniversaries to
come that likely will involve a visit to Concept.
